Is a resource person for physicians and clinical staff. Additionally is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

(GENERAL NURSING) Performs comprehensive assessments of patients, evaluates responses to interventions and changes interventions as necessary under the direction of the Head Nurse or the Charge Nurse. Updates individualized care plans. Demonstrates competence in the role of team leader. Oversees the delegation of tasks to Certified Nurse Aides. Maintains professional standards by participating in inservice and staff meetings. Must be prepared to provide physical assistance in moving, transporting,turning, re-positioning, and transferring patients/residents. Medication administration.
