Licensed Practical Nurse

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for this Private Duty Nursing care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to provide high-quality medical assistance in the home for developmental disability patients.

Duties:

• Monitore seizures episodes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license in the state of practice
• Knowledge of ICD-9 coding and medical terminology
• Experience in providing care to patients of all ages, including individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Strong understanding of physiology and medical procedures
