Overview of Unit/DepartmentWant to be a member of an interdisciplinary team that is patient focused?Working daily with all types of adult patients from cardiac to trauma to ortho and neuro.
We focus on the patient returning home at their maximum level of abilities.
As a nurse you have frequent interactions with the patient and family providing immediate care and education for a successful transition home.

The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education.
The Medical-Surgical nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.
