Job Description

Description:
Develops the plan of care, collaborates with the physician in development of the plan of treatment, and supervises services provided in the client's home by licensed practical and registered nurses.
Education:
Required:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Experience:
Required:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience (one (1) year must be in high-acuity pediatric care in a hospital, home care agency, or residential setting
Preferred:
One (1) year of home care experience
Preferred:
Supervisory experience
Skills:
Ability to function independently, organize and prioritize responsibilities efficiently and demonstrate good nursing judgementAbility to work well under stress and adapt to changing conditionsAbility to work in various home environmentsAbility to deal effectively and courteously with clients, families, coworkers, physicians, and community resources and exhibit empathetic attitude toward the sick and elderlyAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writingDemonstrates computer and general office machine skills
