Requirements:
Current, active Virginia LPN license CPR certification
Resume Key Responsibilities:
Participate in screening, evaluation, and nursing care of inmates under the supervision of a physician and/or RN. Record medical information and vital signs accurately in patient records. Prepare patients for and assist with examinations and treatments. Prepare and maintain exam rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, and supply inventory. Coordinate with medical and ancillary staff to ensure continuity of care. Monitor, document, and report symptoms or changes in patient condition; provide appropriate interventions in emergencies. Comply with state regulations and facility policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by facility.
