Job Description
Lamoille Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. As an integral member of our patient-centered healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse population in a fast-paced community health center setting.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Administer medications, including injections and vaccinations. Collect and document patient vital signs and medical history. Perform basic nursing assessments and triage patient calls. Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. Assist with minor procedures, such as wound care and dressing changes.Clinical Support:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Prepare and maintain patient charts and medical records. Assist with inventory management of medical supplies. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety guidelines.Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the healthcare team. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.Qualifications:
Required:
Current and valid LPN license in the state of Vermont BLS certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and diverse environmentPreferred:
Experience working in a community health center or other primary care setting Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred)Benefits:
