Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive school environment as a contract LPN, providing dedicated 1:1 care to a delightful 4th grade student. Situated near Auburn, WA, this role lets you make a genuine impact by supporting a student with medical needs throughout their school day and in transit. In this position, you'll connect each morning with the student's home health nurse and accompany the student on school transportation, ensuring seamless, compassionate care from home to classroom and back. The student is ambulatory, cooperative, and known for their sweet personality—creating a positive, fulfilling work experience.
What We're Looking For:
Active LPN/LVN license School nursing experience or comparable pediatric background preferred Demonstrated experience with tracheostomy care, trach suctioning, and g-tube management Comfortable providing diapering and personal care Reliable, organized, and communicative Compassionate approach and commitment to supporting students' health and learning
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day and during transportation Perform trach care, suctioning, g-tube management, and diapering as needed Collaborate with school staff and the student's home health nurse to coordinate care and transitions Promptly address any routine or urgent health needs, always prioritizing student safety and comfort Document care and communicate effectively with all members of the care team This contract opportunity allows you to build strong connections while gaining specialized experience in pediatric school nursing.
