Job Description

Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working closely with a bright, friendly 4th-grade student in a school-based setting near Bonney Lake, WA. This contract role provides a unique chance to deliver one-on-one nursing care, making a meaningful impact every day. The student is ambulatory and has no behavioral challenges, creating a supportive environment for a compassionate professional dedicated to pediatric care.
Key Qualifications:
Valid LPN/LVN license in Washington State At least one year of pediatric nursing experience preferred Demonstrated expertise in tracheostomy care, including suctioning Hands-on G-tube care and management experience Ability to perform diapering and other personal care tasks discreetly and sensitively Skilled in working collaboratively with home health professionals and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for one elementary student throughout the school day Deliver specialized care including trach suctioning, trach monitoring, and g-tube feeding/care Assist with daily routines such as diapering and mobility, ensuring student comfort and dignity Participate in transportation: meet at the school, accompany the student to and from their home via bus, and coordinate hand-offs with the home health nurse Maintain accurate, timely health documentation and communicate effectively with the educational and healthcare teams Foster a nurturing, safe environment where the student can thrive both medically and academically You'll play a vital part in this student's school experience while honing your nursing skills in a supportive, dynamic environment.
