Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse. RN, or LPN, to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the health and well-being of patients across various settings. The Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and medical history. Administer medications and injections as prescribed while monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions. Provide care for patients with infectious diseases and manage their treatment plans effectively. Document all medical information accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, particularly in geriatrics. Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing emergency medicine protocols when necessary. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and best practices in nursing care. Skills Proficient in infectious disease care and management. Strong understanding of geriatrics and the specific needs of elderly patients. Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or similar high-acuity environments. Competent in administering injections and performing other clinical procedures. Excellent medical documentation skills with attention to detail. Knowledgeable in emergency medicine practices and protocols. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy is upheld. Strong grasp of medical terminology relevant to nursing practice.
