Our board-certified addiction specialists treat addiction as a medical specialty. We offer the full spectrum of treatment options to our patients. When a patient contacts one of our treatment centers; they get assessed by a physician and a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP). Evidence-based treatment options are discussed with the patient; and a treatment plan which offers the best outcomes is devised.
Position Summary:
Washington State Department of Health Certified LPN will assist the medical provider to treat patients suffering from Opioid Use Disorder by providing services that include but are not limited to medication dispensing/administration, intake, evaluation, admission, triage, medication induction and stabilization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Dispense and record appropriate doses of medication dispensed in the EHR, in accordance with clinic, state and federal guidelines. Keep proper inventory of medication Record all doses dispensed and account for all methadone used during a Dispensary shift. Accurately record patient details in the electronic medical records system. Attend meetings as directed and report to the management personnel as required. Monitor charts for dose discrepancies and take corrective action when needed. Participate in team meetings and provide such data as needed by the team for inclusion of medical treatment plan. Monitor tuberculosis, HIV, and Hep C testing for all patients and assigned units, including making outside referrals when appropriate. Deliver medications to assigned facilities in a timely, secure, and compliant manner. Other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor and the Medical Director.
License, Education, Experience:
LPN License in Washington State
- Required Minimum 1-year experience working in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment
- Preferred Valid CPR/BLS Certification This position may rotate between locations based on the needs of the clinic and to ensure optimal patient care.
