Daily rotation — 06:00 AM-02:30 PM (Sun-Sat)
Rate:
$1,244 per 40 hours (local) Required credentials Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license BLS certification Core responsibilities Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician direction: medication administration, wound care, vital signs, and basic treatments. Conduct patient assessments (physical exam, history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments accurately, following orders and facility protocols.
Manage wounds/incisions:
evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor for infection or complications. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition; maintain accurate patient records. Insert, maintain, and monitor IV lines; administer and observe IV medications/fluids as indicated. Provide urinary catheter care (insertion, maintenance, monitoring for complications). Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, self-care, and preventive measures. Assist with patient comfort, mobility, positioning, and basic pain management. Respond to emergencies per protocol and provide basic life support when needed. Follow infection control policies, including hand hygiene and appropriate PPE use. Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies per regulations. Advocate for patients' rights and collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care. May supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel as assigned. Maintain professional competence through ongoing education and training. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
