Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Mount Vernon, Washington. This role offers the opportunity to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care across in a skilled nursing facility. You will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and supporting overall health and wellness initiatives. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA guidelines and medical documentation standards. Perform specialized procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, wound suturing, and sterile processing with precision and aseptic technique. Manage patient care plans for individuals with complex needs including dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care, and behavioral health conditions. Support acute care activities such as airway management, ventilator monitoring, and emergency response in hospital or urgent care settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and post-acute care to ensure seamless patient transitions. Maintain detailed medical records, ensure compliance with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding standards, and document all patient interactions thoroughly. Experience Proven experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Epic or Athenahealth. Critical care experience in settings like Skilled Nursing. Demonstrated expertise in medical-surgical nursing, geriatrics, pediatrics, or home & community care environments. Hands-on experience with specialized procedures including phlebotomy, venipuncture, tube feeding management, and infection control protocols. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology necessary for accurate patient assessment and diagnosis. Prior work with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders is a plus. Valid licensure as an RN or LPN in the state of Washington, with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

RN:
$60/hr
LPN:
