Nuclear Workers Alliance is looking for a compassionate, clinically strong RN or LPN to join our growing White Card home care team. We are a smaller, more personal agency that believes great care comes from truly knowing the client, building trust with families, and working closely as a team to catch problems early and support people through the realities of chronic illness, aging, and changing health needs. Our clients are former nuclear workers with complex medical histories. Many need ongoing nursing oversight, medication support, monitoring for changes in condition, caregiver guidance, communication with providers, and someone who can look beyond the diagnosis and recognize what is really affecting their safety, function, and quality of life. We are looking for a nurse who wants to be part of something more connected and meaningful than simply moving from visit to visit. What Makes Us Different At Nuclear Workers Alliance, you are not just filling shifts or checking boxes. You will be part of a close-knit team that values communication, collaboration, follow-through, and thoughtful clinical care. We take the time to understand our clients' medical needs, medications, home environment, mobility, support systems, and day-to-day challenges. You will have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with clients and families while using your nursing knowledge to make a real difference in their lives. What You May Be Doing Depending on your experience and role, responsibilities may include: In-home nursing visits, assessments, and ongoing client check-ins Medication review, medication education, and monitoring for side effects or concerns Monitoring for changes in condition, disease progression, falls, safety risks, or decline in function Communicating concerns and recommendations to physicians, families, caregivers, and the internal care team Providing caregiver oversight, guidance, and clinical support Supporting care plans and helping ensure client needs are being met appropriately Identifying needs for equipment, mobility support, home safety improvements, or additional services Completing clear, thorough nursing documentation Helping clients and families navigate complex health concerns with patience and compassion Who We're Looking For The right person is someone who is clinically observant, dependable, compassionate, and comfortable thinking beyond a task list. You may be a great fit if you: Hold an active Washington State RN or LPN license Have experience in home health, private-duty nursing, hospice, geriatrics, chronic disease management, rehabilitation, care coordination, or long-term care Understand medications, common side effects, disease progression, and when a concern needs further follow-up Can recognize subtle changes in a client's condition and communicate them clearly Enjoy developing relationships with clients and families over time Are organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently while staying connected with a team Value collaboration and want your clinical insight to be heard and respected Why Join Nuclear Workers Alliance Smaller, relationship-focused agency environment Clients you have time to genuinely get to know Meaningful nursing work with medically complex adults Supportive, collaborative leadership and team communication Flexibility and autonomy in your day-to-day work Opportunity to grow as the company grows A role where your nursing judgment, compassion, and follow-through truly matter About Nuclear Workers Alliance Nuclear Workers Alliance serves former Department of Energy and nuclear workers receiving care through the White Card program. Our mission is to provide thoughtful, high-quality, personalized support to clients whose health needs are often complex and evolving. We are looking for nurses who want to do meaningful work, build lasting relationships, and be part of a team that truly cares about the people we serve.
