In this role, you will provide bedside nursing to a client who requires 24/7 arms-length care and supervision. In addition to exercising nursing judgement, this position requires provision of total client care. This is a full-time position that typically works Monday-Friday during normal business hours but may require some need for occasional nights/weekends-based business needs. We are one of the state's largest private, multi-service agencies dedicated to meeting the needs of children and adults with all types of disabilities.

This includes seizure monitoring, breathing monitoring, and using judgement around assessing this client's overall healthcare profile. Participates in activites related to community integration with this client, which includes regular daily walks in the community and participation in community events that are typical to someone of this person's age. Keeps the supervising LPN apprised of client health status and actions taken to address health concerns, such as lab tests, healthcare provider recommendations, and so on. Notifies and works in collaboration with client's legal representative. Attends healthcare provider visits with clients and a caregiver. Performs similar or incidental job duties, as needed. What you'll bring: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, and carrying a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Washington. One year of experience in a nursing setting and/or working with individuals with disabilities. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, management, and outside medical professionals. Ability to effectively manage healthcare crisis situations. Current and valid Washington state driver's license, good driving record, and insurance acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier.
