Friday Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Clinic LPN•is responsible for providing clinical, administrative, and facility support within their scope of practice to ensure efficient operation of the clinic. This position supports providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care, clinic maintenance, and communication with other Ideal Option departments. The Clinic LPN will provide clinical and non-clinical support as needed and directed by the organization. This role requires excellent patient care, attention to detail, and adherence to best practices in medication administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative tasks to support efficient clinic flow for in-person and virtual patients Obtain and maintain required patient documentation, consents, and releases Collect patient copays and other payments as required by insurance plans and clinic policies Maintain accountability for in-clinic funds, including secure handling of payments and completion of bank deposits Facilitate a positive patient experience through professional communication and customer service Provide clinical support within the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) scope of practice and in accordance with provider orders, clinic policies, and applicable regulations, including: Phlebotomy Urine collection (in special circumstances as direct by provider) Accurate collection and recording of vital signs Medication reconciliation Observed dosing Administer subcutaneous (SubQ) and intramuscular (IM) injections in accordance with provider orders and established clinical protocols Provide patient education and answer questions regarding treatment plans under the direction of the provider Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery and treatment goals Perform routine maintenance and cleaning Responsible for ensuring adequate stock of supplies, completing inventory, and orders as needed Complies with national PHI laws including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 Maintains punctual and reliable attendance in compliance with the Ideal Option policy Works cooperatively to ensure the success of their team by providing support and training as appropriate Maintain consistent and regular communication with team members across multiple platforms Dynamic responsibilities, including potential needs for: Community outreach Clinic development Other projects as needed
