Job Description

Part-Time Nurse (LPN/RN) - Up to $51/hr, 1 on 1, No Charting The Gouker Household Madison, WI Job Details Part-time $30 - $45 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications RN License Resident personal care assistance Patient care Working with adults with disabilities LPN Full Job Description I'm searching for a nurse who's ready for something different. You must be… Over the ratios. Over the charting. Over the charge nurse breathing down your neck. If you're a burned-out RN or LPN who just wants to use your license in a low-drama, 1-on-1 environment and actually get paid well for it, keep reading. My name's Joel. I'm a professional in my 40s on the east side of Madison. I volunteer with a local nonprofit, I like checking out new restaurants and bars, watching movies, and traveling. I also have a physical disability called SMA, which means you will be helping me with personal care, transfers, my equipment, driving me to appointments and events, and keeping my day moving smoothly. I self-direct my own care and manage my own staff. I have a solid crew of about 7 people covering shifts 24/7, and I'm looking to add the right nurse to the team. This is a real job, every shift involves physical effort. You are present, you are engaged, and you are executing specific routines exactly how I need them done. But it is also a 1-on-1 private home, not a floor with 20 patients, and a pile of incident reports. The pace is human. The environment is calm. There are pets. The dress code is whatever you're comfortable in.
What this pays:
LPN:
Starting at $30/hr
RN:
Starting at $45/hr Monthly raises: $0.50/hr every month you reliably work your shifts, for the first year — that's up to $51/hr for an RN by month 12.
Hours:
16-32 hours/week. Shifts are 8-12 hours. I'm currently prioritizing morning shifts (starting at 5 AM), overnight shifts (ending at 5 AM), and weekend shifts.
Apply If:
You're willing to leave the facility mindset at the door. I'm not a patient, I know my own body better than a care plan will. I need someone who's deeply reliable, receptive to direct feedback without taking it personally, and genuinely comfortable respecting how I choose to run my own life. If this sounds like something you've been looking for, apply and I'll send you a link to set up a quick Zoom chat.
Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Benefits:
Flexible schedule
Work Location:
In person
