This position is primarily responsible for scheduling, documentation tracking, database maintenance, and compliance monitoring across onboarding and workforce readiness initiatives. The role utilizes licensed nursing knowledge to perform required physical assessments for new employees and to support infection control surveillance processes under the direction of Population Health leadership. Mon - Fri only. No Weekends!
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate scheduling for pre-employment screenings and onboarding requirements Maintain and track employee immunization records, TB screening, and fit testing Assist with documentation of annual competencies and mandatory education Maintain employee health files and onboarding compliance records Perform required physical examinations for new employees as applicable Support return-to-work clearance documentation Maintain departmental databases related to education, employee health, and compliance Track completion of onboarding and annual training requirements Coordinate scheduling of education sessions and screenings Prepare reports for internal review or regulatory readiness Maintain organized records for audit and survey preparation Support departmental meetings, minutes, and scheduling needs Assist with infection control surveillance activities Maintain exposure and communicable illness tracking logs Support audit preparation (e.g., hand hygiene, PPE compliance) Assist with preparation of documentation for internal reporting (e.g., QAPI) Patient Safety Expectation Adheres to established safety protocols, infection prevention standards, and hand hygiene practices to reduce the risk of harm to patients, residents, visitors, and staff. Supports staff in maintaining a culture of safety across nursing, population health, and employee wellness Follows isolation precautions, immunization protocols, and surveillance workflows in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program required. Current valid LPN license in the State of Wisconsin required. Experience in employee health, education coordination, or infection prevention preferred.
Skill, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational and clerical skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Comfort working with confidential and sensitive information. Knowledge of healthcare or public health settings preferred. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Experience:
Familiarity with employee health, education, or infection control procedures is a plus.
