Licensed Massage Therapist

Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans, considering medical history, physiology, and specific pain points. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend suitable therapies for ongoing health maintenance and pain management. Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with health regulations. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and facility policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and certifications related to occupational health and med spa services. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in good standing. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients empathetically. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly about treatment plans and health conditions.
