Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

I Primarily have a goal to find 1 additional team member who has flexibility and interest in any of the following options: on-call status/fill in by request/ or the ability to offer 1-3 days a week of bookable availability Pick your days and hours! Our in-demand days would best align with someone who wants to provide availability on any of the following days: Saturday/Sunday/Monday and/or Tuesday-Friday mornings, 9:30am-11:30am would align best.

PAY:

Commission based 1099

• Independent Contractor Position
• 50•55% Commission, dependent on experience.

(Averages to a minimum base earning of $60+ per massage hour.)

• Earnings increasingly vary via tips and service enhancements.

Looking to add a caring professional to be apart of our current team of three massage therapists. In contracting an individual we'll be keen on meeting dedicated and talented Licensed Massage Therapists who Strive for Excellence. 2+ years of experience is preferred but not required. Newly or Soon-to-be licensed massage therapist will be considered, willing to train! Looking for individuals who have a Positive Attitude and are Kind-Hearted, Caring Professionals who enjoy working very independently but can also work well with other team members. Looking for someone who has a passion for their own personal wellness. Must have a high standard in/natural inclination for hospitality and professionalism. We offer the right candidate the opportunity to work in a nurturing, holistic environment within a comfortable office space (studio sessions). Sama Massage also takes pride in supporting and serving clients who prefer our holistic therapies in the comfort of their own home (in-home sessions)! Candidates able to fulfill both in-home and studio sessions will be considered first but studio only is an option.

Monitor/edit schedule independently and diligently. Promptly respond to appointment requests. Comfortability independently checking out and rebooking clients. Ability to work independently as well as apart of a team Interest in assisting and interacting on social media platforms to promote availability and services (optional) Speak with others confidently, using clear and professional language Intentions to deliver a compassionate and elevated massage experience to guests Attentively Greet clients with warmth, confidence, and an uplifting/grounding aura upon arriving for appointments. Assess clients needs and inquire about contraindications, injuries, allergies, medical conditions, before beginning service Willingness to take notes\remarks of client sessions; maintain confidentiality Frequently check with guest to promote comfort, safety, and security throughout service Promote and encourage whole-mind-body wellness & make recommendations to support clients' wellness goals Encourage and extend to clients that you enjoyed working with, an invitation to return/rebook. Open, Close, & Maintain workstations, facility, and treatment room Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools Willingness to support maintenance of a clean/welcoming workspace for self and other therapists after use of the space. Via turning/resetting tables with attention to detail, wiping down/sanitizing objects/surfaces, and properly store dirty linens. Assistance with transferring laundry greatly appreciated. No expectation of folding linens, but the added support is appreciated at times. Drive & Transport supplies to/from clients location and massage studio Lift, Carry, Pull Massage Table and supplies in/out of vehicle and through clients home/service location Handle inappropriate guest behavior according to standard operating procedures for Inappropriate conduct for guests and therapists, leading up to and including stopping a treatment or service and informing Owner Maintain/Keep current skills and licensure in the state of Alaska Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to owner
