Job Description
```Duties```
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments for clients, including deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, and other therapeutic techniques
- Assess clients' medical history, conditions, and symptoms to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Provide occupational health services such as ergonomic assessments and recommendations for injury prevention
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to effectively address clients' specific needs
- Manage acute pain through various massage techniques and modalities
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance the benefits of massage therapy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation ```Skills```
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of common medical conditions
- Ability to perform patient assessments to identify specific needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Knowledge of occupational health practices and ability to provide recommendations for injury prevention in the workplace
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology to target specific muscle groups and address underlying issues
- Expertise in pain management techniques to alleviate acute pain and promote overall well-being
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive and comfortable experience for clients
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques to release tension and promote relaxation
- Experience in conducting physical examinations to assess clients' range of motion, flexibility, and overall musculoskeletal health
