Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist (1099 contractor) to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through tailored treatments that incorporate deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced techniques. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop personalized treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant health information. Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to all sanitation and safety protocols in compliance with licensing standards. Collaborate with team members and healthcare professionals to optimize client outcomes and enhance service quality. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to continually improve skills. Requirements Valid state license as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally. Proven experience in patient service with a focus on patient assessment and pain management. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and physiology knowledge related to musculoskeletal health. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and occupational health principles. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar setting is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients empathetically and professionally. Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
