Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional client care. This role is essential in helping clients achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being through therapeutic massage services. We have a wonderful client base who have been coming to see us for years. We also have a very collaborative team! We are looking for a Massage Therapist who loves to learn and is willing to learn Therapeutic Techniques and Modalities. Duties Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions. Provide a range of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. (We are willing to train) Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively for each client. Maintain accurate records Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing their concerns. Collaborate with other practitioners in the office Ensure cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols. Ability to talk with clients about a wellness plan and rebooking. Requirements Valid massage therapy license in accordance with state regulations. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Some experience in pain management techniques and various massage modalities preferred, but willing to teach. Excellent client service skills with the ability to empathize with clients' needs. Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
