Job Description

We are seeking an energetic Spa Director to lead our upscale spa operations. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the spa and salon experience, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, kind and efficient management of staff, and accurate payroll reporting. Your leadership will promote our values and foster a welcoming environment that promotes wellness, relaxation, and outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with hospitality management experience. This role is more focused on the massage services part of our spa and less focused on the salon. We want to make life better for our members and guests, and believe that starts with a happy staff. Pay is DOE. Admin duties are hourly based pay with a bonus incentive each month. It is also best for the club, and also helpful for the director, to additionally have regular massage shifts on the schedule in order to have more hours and reason to be in person at the club more often. We currently have many massage shifts available, and a strong need for chair massage therapists as well. Massage shifts are paid by commission. The club has built in clientele, with direct access to an active, loyal club membership. We also have an Inn next door that refers to us. Duties Manage daily spa operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure smooth service delivery Lead, supervise, and positively motivate a team of certified massage therapists and an additional salon staff of three Support the club's management staff in increasing revenue through innovative services, promotions, and upselling techniques Oversee guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring personalized service that exceeds expectations Coordinate with the general manager on hiring, training, performance evaluations, and other required staff situations Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene Understand the department budget, help control expenses, and optimize resource utilization to meet the budgets Collaborate with club management team to integrate spa offerings seamlessly into overall member and guest experiences Skills Proven supervising experience within hospitality or spa / salon environments with strong leadership capabilities Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences Exceptional communication skills with attention to timely responses to all communication methods used at the club Passion for hospitality excellence combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
