Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure optimal results Educate clients on pain management strategies and post-treatment care to enhance ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and medical history using appropriate medical terminology Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client questions or concerns Stay informed about occupational health standards and incorporate best practices into therapy sessions Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care Skills Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Proven experience in patient service, assessment, and customized treatment planning Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically Familiarity with medical or med spa environments is preferred for seamless integration into clinical settings Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality Passion for promoting health, wellness, and occupational safety through therapeutic practices
