Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and pain points. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, medical history, and treatment goals. Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate modalities like deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic techniques. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or lifestyle adjustments. Maintain detailed records of each session, including patient progress, treatment details, and any relevant health information. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including occupational health standards. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education to provide the highest level of care. Requirements Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Certification or licensure as required by local regulations for massage therapy practice. Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Prior experience in medical spa or occupational health settings is preferred. $28.00 - $34.69 per hour
