Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and occupational health. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant medical terminology. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on the latest massage techniques, physiology knowledge, and industry best practices to continuously enhance service quality. Requirements Valid certification as a Massage Therapist from an accredited program; current licensure or registration as required by local regulations. Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on patient assessment and pain management strategies. Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques. Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients empathetically and professionally. Knowledge of occupational health principles to support workplace wellness initiatives. Compensation:
Commission based starting $25-$35/hour +tip
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
