Massage Therapist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team (part-time or full time)

AND COMMISSION ONLY 50/50

. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. This role requires excellent patient service skills and the ability to assess individual patient needs to provide effective pain management solutions. The Massage Therapist will work in a supportive environment, focusing on enhancing the well-being of our clients through therapeutic touch. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and techniques. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel comfortable and valued during their sessions. Maintain accurate records of client treatments, progress, and any relevant medical history using appropriate medical terminology. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for clients, focusing on pain management and occupational health. Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy practices and maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enhance treatment effectiveness. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards within the treatment area to ensure a safe environment for clients. Requirements Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to massage therapy practices. Experience in patient service and customer relations, with a focus on creating positive client experiences. Familiarity with pain management techniques and occupational health principles is preferred. Previous experience in a med spa setting is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
