Responsibilities Perform customized massage sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety during therapy sessions. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend suitable therapies for ongoing pain management or occupational health concerns. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, including patient responses and progress notes, adhering to medical terminology standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care strategies. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by following proper sanitation protocols and facility policies. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and service quality. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or local regulations. Proven experience in patient service with a focus on patient assessment and personalized treatment planning. Proficiency in advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients. Experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
