In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and professional care. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to each client's needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, client progress, and health history in compliance with regulatory standards Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation and safety protocols Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or spa staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care or service offerings Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance skills and certifications When you are not giving massage you will be paid $17.75 /hr and will have basic admin responsibilities Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on customer satisfaction and personalized care Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Skilled in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy Strong understanding of occupational health principles related to workplace wellness programs or med spa environments Excellent communication skills for patient assessment and client education Prior experience in med spas or similar settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for ongoing learning is essential

$50.00 - $55.00 per hour
