Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual physiology and pain management goals. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, occupational health practices, and self-care strategies to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment details, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient care and recovery strategies. Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that fosters trust and comfort for every client. Experience Proven experience in massage therapy with a focus on patient service and pain management techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices. Prior experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately through effective patient assessment skills. Certification as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and current CPR certification are required. Familiarity with massage therapy tools and equipment used in medical or spa environments. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence and patient education.
