Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients to help alleviate pain, reduce stress, and promote overall wellness. If you have a passion for helping others and possess excellent massage techniques, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and evaluations to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Administer various massage techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage
- Provide acute pain management and relief for clients with specific conditions or injuries
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of physiology to effectively communicate with clients and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and advancements in the field
- Adhere to all occupational health and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid Massage Therapist license/certification in the state
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assess patient conditions accurately
- Proficiency in various massage techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage
- Strong understanding of pain management principles and techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
