The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology, along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role requires a commitment to patient care, ensuring that each client receives personalized treatment tailored to their individual needs. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans. Provide various types of massage therapy, including trigger point therapy and pain management techniques. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals. Collaborate with other health professionals in an occupational health setting when necessary. Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring a welcoming and relaxing environment for all clients. Qualifications Proven knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy practices. Experience in a med spa or similar environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Ability to perform patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs. Familiarity with pain management techniques and trigger point therapy is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. Valid massage therapy license as required by state regulations.
