Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs. Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions and goals. Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions. Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical information. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a clean, comfortable environment for clients. Skills of Strong patient service skills with the ability to connect empathetically and build trust with clients. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to identify specific needs and customize treatments accordingly. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies. Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive client experiences. Knowledge of occupational health principles to support workplace wellness initiatives. Prior experience in med spa settings or similar environments is highly desirable for success in this role.
