In this role, you will deliver exceptional women's health massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatments rooted in a deep understanding of physiology and anatomy and Eastern medicine. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive and holistic impact on women's lives while working in a calm, supportive, and relaxing environment committed to exceptional client care. Experience in prenatal, postpartum, acupressure, or Eastern medicine inspired massage is a plus, but not required. We are happy to provide training in these specialty modalities for the right candidate. Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and acupressure point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each client's condition and goals. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health, and injury prevention strategies to support ongoing wellness and referral of our spa offerings (acupuncture) when necessary. Maintain detailed treatment records, including notes on patient progress, treatment plans, and relevant medical terminology. Collaborate with other team members when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care. Support is always provided! Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health, safety, and professional protocols and conduct. Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices in massage therapy and pain management. Requirements Valid/Active CAMTC certification as a Massage Therapist and graduated from an accredited program Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on customer satisfaction and effective communication skills. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans accordingly. Strong understanding of occupational health principles related to injury prevention and recovery. Passion for holistic healing/integrative wellness Interested in learning Traditional Chinese Medicine style acupressure massage Prenatal Certified or interested in Prenatal Certification Thrives in a nurturing, all-female client setting & is passionate about women's wellness Professional, compassionate, & attuned to female clients' needs and exceptional client service
