We are a busy chiropractic office in Visalia seeking a full-time massage therapist to be trained in performing doctor-directed radial shockwave therapy in our office as well as other back office therapies, exams and histories. This is not a massage position. The role is focused on providing radial shockwave, a non-invasive treatment used in our office for chronic soft tissue and musculoskeletal pain conditions. We believe a massage therapist may be well suited for this position because of their background in anatomy, palpation, hands-on patient care and communication with patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, but would like a stable, full-time clinical position that is less demanding than performing traditional massage sessions throughout the day. Primary Responsibilities Perform radial shockwave according to the doctor's treatment plan and office protocols Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment comfort and tolerance Clean and care for therapy equipment and treatment areas Accurately document completed treatments and therapies Assist with patient histories, exams and other clerical duties Assist with other related patient care and therapy related duties as needed

What We Are Looking For:

• Massage therapy training and license
• Solid understanding of basic muscular anatomy
• Good palpation skills and comfortable working with tender or painful soft tissue areas
• Strong patient communication skills, warm, dependable and detailed oriented
• Able to follow specific treatment protocols carefully Training Provided We will provide structured in-office training in: Radial Shockwave therapy principles Equipment set up/equipment use Doctor -directed protocols and documentation Patient communication during therapy sessions

Pay:

From $22.00 per hour
