Job Description
The Massage Therapist provides high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients to promote relaxation, reduce stress, relieve pain, and support overall wellness. This role is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and customized treatments while maintaining a professional and client-focused environment. Must be 18 years old. Valid state licensure/certification as a Massage Therapist Completion of an accredited massage therapy program Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days High school diploma or GED required Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy program Coursework in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology strongly preferred Work is conducted in a private setting with clients on an individual basis.
Physical Activities:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to reach, grasp, and handle small objects, tools, or equipment with precision. Ability to monitor participants, ensure safety, and respond to signals or emergencies.
