We offer sunless and UV tanning, redlight therapy, saunas, a hot tub and an ADA Jacuzzi! We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of human physiology will help deliver personalized treatments that meet each patient's unique needs. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific patient concerns. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions and goals. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments. Educate patients on self-care practices, occupational health considerations, and pain management strategies to enhance their recovery process. Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting patient progress and treatment details accurately. Ensure a welcoming, comfortable environment that emphasizes excellent customer service and patient satisfaction. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and licensing requirements through ongoing professional development. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and providing various massage modalities including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients professionally and empathetically. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and professionalism. Commitment to ongoing education to stay updated on new techniques and industry regulations.
