Job Description

Massage Therapist (Part-Time or Full-Time) The Well for Women•New Haven, CT There's a certain kind of massage therapist this role is for. Not the one who wants to do 6-7 back-to-back sessions a day. Not the one chasing bonuses or rushing through clients. This is for the therapist who: Notices when a client exhales for the first time in weeks Cares about the nervous system as much as the muscles Wants to build relationships , not just complete sessions Understands that women have unique needs at different points in the life-cycle The Well for Women in New Haven , we've created a space that feels different: Calm, quiet, and intentionally paced Clients who value the work (and come back because of you) A team that supports each other instead of competing
Position Details:
Part-time or full-time positions available Employee status Focus on prenatal massage and care for women, women-identifying, and non-binary clients
What You'll Do:
Provide high-quality therapeutic massage (e.g., deep tissue, trigger point therapy) Develop individualized treatment plans for pain relief and wellness Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment space Deliver excellent client care and communication
What We're Looking For:
Valid CT Massage Therapy License (LMT) Current liability insurance Experience with prenatal massage (preferred) 2+ years experience preferred
Schedule Needs:
Monday, Thursday, Friday:
3:00 PM•8:30
PM Saturday:
11:00 AM•5:00
PM or Sunday:
12:00 PM•6:00
PM Compensation & Perks:
45% of service revenue to start, with an increase after 90 days 100% of tips Professional, supportive work culture $250 90-day bonus for full-time
LMTs Interview Process:
20-25 minute conversation + 20-25 minute hands-on demo with hiring manager
