Our clinic serves patients who are dealing with muscle tension, chronic discomfort, limited mobility, sports-related strain, postural issues, and general body dysfunction. We are looking for a professional, skilled, and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist who is passionate about therapeutic bodywork and patient-centered care. Position Overview The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide therapeutic massage services tailored to each patient's needs, with an emphasis on neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue massage, trigger point work, mobility support, pain relief, and functional recovery. This role is ideal for a therapist who enjoys clinical, results-focused bodywork rather than spa-only relaxation massage. The right candidate should be professional, dependable, confident with hands-on therapeutic work, and comfortable working with patients who are seeking relief from pain, tension, stiffness, and movement limitations. Key Responsibilities Provide professional therapeutic massage sessions, including deep tissue, neuromuscular, trigger point, and corrective bodywork techniques. Evaluate patient needs within the scope of massage therapy and tailor sessions based on pain areas, mobility limitations, muscle tension, and treatment goals. Maintain clear communication with patients regarding pressure, comfort, treatment focus, and recommended care plans. Document session notes accurately and professionally. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment room. Follow all Florida massage therapy laws, clinic policies, sanitation standards, and professional boundaries. Help support patient retention through excellent care, professionalism, and treatment consistency. Work collaboratively with the clinic team to support overall patient wellness and recovery. Qualifications Active Florida Licensed Massage Therapist license required. Strong knowledge of anatomy, muscles, trigger points, and therapeutic bodywork techniques. Experience with deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, medical massage, or pain-relief focused bodywork preferred. Professional appearance, communication, and bedside manner. Ability to work with patients experiencing chronic pain, tension, limited mobility, or muscular dysfunction. Dependable, punctual, organized, and patient-focused. Willingness to follow clinic systems, documentation procedures, and treatment protocols. Preferred Skills Neuromuscular therapy experience. Trigger point therapy experience. Deep tissue and corrective bodywork experience. Experience working in a medical, therapy, chiropractic, physical therapy, or wellness clinic setting. Ability to recommend appropriate follow-up care without overpromising results. Comfortable working with a wide range of patients, including active adults, seniors, athletes, and individuals recovering from pain or injury. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in helping people feel and move better. This person understands that therapeutic massage is not just relaxation—it is targeted, intentional bodywork designed to help patients improve function, reduce discomfort, and support long-term wellness. We are looking for someone who is caring, professional, motivated, and serious about building lasting patient relationships.
