In this role, you will provide therapeutic services designed to support healing, reduce swelling, improve circulation, and enhance overall recovery outcomes for surgical patients. Your expertise will play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care tailored to each patient's post-surgical needs in a professional medical setting. Responsibilities Perform post-operative massage treatments, including lymphatic drainage and other specialized techniques to reduce inflammation, minimize fibrosis, and promote healing. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including review of surgical procedures, medical history, and recovery goals. Educate patients on post-operative care, including self-massage techniques, compression garment use, and recovery best practices. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and any concerns to ensure continuity of care. Ensure a safe, sterile, and welcoming clinical environment in compliance with all medical and safety regulations. Collaborate closely with Dr. Flores and the clinical team to align treatment plans with surgical outcomes and recovery protocols. Monitor patients for any abnormal post-operative symptoms and promptly communicate concerns to the medical team. Stay up to date with advancements in post-surgical massage techniques and continuing education requirements. Requirements Valid certification as a Massage Therapist from an accredited program; state licensure as required. Experience or strong interest in post-operative care, lymphatic drainage massage, or medical spa environments. Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and post-surgical healing processes. Strong communication and assessment skills with the ability to provide patient-centered care. High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to medical protocols.
