Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, with a focus on patient assessment and pain management. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a relaxing and therapeutic environment for clients. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively address client concerns. Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa environment to support holistic health approaches. Educate clients on self-care practices and the benefits of regular massage therapy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, adhering to all health and safety protocols. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques and pain management strategies. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to therapeutic massage practices. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on patient satisfaction. Experience in occupational health settings is a plus but not required. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
