Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs effectively Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and customize treatment plans accordingly Educate clients on self-care practices, post-treatment care, and wellness strategies tailored to their physiology and health conditions Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to occupational health standards and sanitation protocols Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in medical massage therapy Skills Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to identify specific areas of tension or pain Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies Solid understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Ability to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and empathy Knowledge of occupational health standards and safety procedures within a med spa or wellness setting Prior experience in a massage spa environment is highly desirable.

Pay:

$22.00 - $45.00 per hour
