The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients improve their physical and emotional well-being through therapeutic massage services and personalized care. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management treatments tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough client assessments, including health history, preferences, and areas of concern. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment before, during, and after sessions. Educate clients on wellness practices, stretching, and body mechanics to support recovery and overall health. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in an occupational health or wellness setting when needed. Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring client satisfaction and addressing questions or concerns professionally. Maintain accurate treatment records, session notes, and progress documentation using appropriate medical terminology. Promote wellness and recovery practices that encourage long-term health benefits for clients. Requirements Valid state license or certification in Massage Therapy. Experience with deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy is highly preferred. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to massage therapy. Previous experience in a med spa, wellness center, or clinical setting is a plus, but not required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to perform the physical demands of massage therapy while maintaining professionalism at all times. Commitment to continuing education and professional growth in the massage therapy field.
