Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team at our spa in a fast-growing cimmunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with excellent customer service skills. This role involves providing therapeutic massage services to clients, assessing their needs, and developing personalized treatment plans to enhance their well-being. The Massage Therapist will work in a supportive environment focused on client care and satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Provide various types of massage therapy, including deep tissue and pain management techniques. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to deliver effective treatments. Maintain accurate records of client sessions and progress. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in an occupational health setting as needed. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the treatment area. Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all clients. Qualifications Valid massage therapy license or certification from an accredited institution. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience in patient service and customer service roles is preferred. Familiarity with med spa environments is a plus. Ability to perform deep tissue massage and other therapeutic techniques effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
