Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Overview We are seeking a part-time skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. Your ability to assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly will be essential in delivering high-quality care. Duties Perform various types of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and create personalized treatment plans. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific client concerns effectively. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care. Document treatment sessions accurately, including client progress and any changes in condition. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to enhance patient care, particularly in occupational health settings. Skills Proficient in various massage techniques, with a focus on deep tissue massage and pain management. Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge. Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all clients. Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively to identify specific needs. Knowledge of trigger point therapy techniques for targeted pain relief. Understanding of physiology as it relates to therapeutic practices.
