Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and treatment plans in compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or spa staff to ensure comprehensive patient care and satisfaction. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism during all client interactions. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and applying various massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Knowledge of pain management techniques and occupational health principles. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients empathetically. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
