Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques to address individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand health concerns, medical history, and specific areas of discomfort Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed treatment records, including patient progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to confidentiality standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by following proper sanitation and safety protocols Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and personalized care Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Skilled in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy Strong understanding of occupational health principles and their application in therapeutic settings Prior experience working in a med spa or similar wellness environment is preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and explain treatment options clearly Join us if you're ready to bring your expertise to a thriving team dedicated to improving lives through healing touch!
