Duties Deliver a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients' specific needs Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize pain management and occupational health strategies Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients, adhering to industry sanitation standards Stay current with advancements in massage therapy techniques and integrate new practices into client care Qualifications Valid license as a Massage Therapist from an accredited licensing board Proven experience as a massage therapist with a strong background in patient service and assessment Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively Familiarity with occupational health principles and practices for workplace wellness programs Prior experience in therapeutic setting or pain management environment is highly desirable
