The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role is essential in helping clients achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being through various massage techniques. The position will be 50% commission as a 1099 employee or W2 hourly position plus commission. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and address specific concerns. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to apply effective pain management strategies. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Collaborate with other health professionals within the med spa setting to enhance patient care and outcomes. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continually improve skills and services offered. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques. Experience in customer service with a focus on patient satisfaction. Familiarity with occupational health practices is a plus. Ability to perform various massage modalities effectively, including deep tissue and trigger point therapy. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
