Massage Therapist Position at
Abuelitos Medical Center Job Overview:
Abuelitos Medical Center is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. The Massage Therapist will play a vital role in providing exceptional massage therapy services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting wellness and enhancing the overall health of our patients
Responsibilities:
  • Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate massage treatments
  • Utilize knowledge of physiology to tailor massage sessions to individual needs
  • Assist in acute pain management through therapeutic massage
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress
  • Provide outstanding patient service and care during massage sessions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals for holistic patient care
  • Stay updated on medical terminology related to massage therapy
  • Experience
  • Previous experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting preferred
  • Proficiency in trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage techniques
  • Strong understanding of physiology and its application to massage therapy
  • Familiarity with occupational health practices and patient assessments
  • Ability to perform physical examinations to inform treatment plans
